You may have already heard of microblading for full brows.\u00a0 Did you know there\u2019s a practice for your scalp?\u00a0 The procedure is known as Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP), which creates the illusion of fuller hair. I also perform my proprietary technique of scalp microblading on the temples with small hair-like strokes similar to brow microblading.<\/p>\n

What are the exact differences?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Although both fall under the category of micropigmentation, [microblading and micropigmentation] are very different methods of implanting pigments.<\/p>\n

While Microblading is typically done with a manual blade, at DIVA-DERM, Scalp Micropigmentation and Microblading \u2013 (NO SCAR TISSUE) is performed using the Nouveau Contour Digital tattoo device.\u00a0 More power is needed to penetrate the skin on your scalp, it\u2019s thicker than the skin under your eyebrows.<\/p>\n

The goal of SMP is to create hairlike tiny, layered dots in different hues of black to replicate the look of a shadow on your scalp.\u00a0 This style, referred to as pointillism, creates a natural-looking depth and definition.<\/p>\n

I incorporate all of my skills to ensure the dots look like natural hair follicles, and blend in seamlessly with your complexion.\u00a0 The process may be useful for people who experience all forms of hair loss.\u00a0 This includes people with:<\/p>\n

\n\u2022 Male and female pattern baldness<\/p>\n
